“Princess” I’ll take, but there is no freakin’ way I’m a damsel to be rescued. In all fairness, Mom came around to our ideas pretty quickly – she’s totally on board now.

(Also by last week’s comments I’m guessing some people saw this joke coming a mile away. Ah well.)

If I had to rescue her, we wouldn’t be getting married.
No one on my zombie survival team that can’t pull their own weight.

  1. I’m glad you have a zombie survival team, tho I would wonder instead of armour why aren’t you a wizard or a mage!! You can blow things up then!

      1. :D!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
        Blood Angels! *SQUEEEEE* 🙂 🙂 🙂 😀 😀 😀

      2. To be fair, you can blow things up with a large enough gun. And with a brittle enough target you can blow things up with a sword/fist, kind of.

        1. A Sledgehammer, battle hammer or war hammer works much better at “Blowing things up” with melee damage.

          1. Admittedly blowing things up with giant swords/axes/hammers is great fun. I much prefer stealth and assassination, but when it comes to open combat, quick, brutal, and efficient is my style. I will ignore all honor in a fight.

  2. Seley’s line and your(Mandy’s) comment remind me of one of my favorite ‘Precocious’ (actually ‘Copper Road’) moments…

    🙂 🙂 🙂

  3. took me a min to understand the pun

    *point finger at the door*

    out with you!

  4. Sometimes no matter who they are, they need to be rescued. The key is to find the person that will rescue you right back when you’re in trouble =D

  5. I have a feeling that at some point in this wedding, there will be:

    1) A great big bonfire and whole pig (or cow) roast
    2) An honorary sword duel
    3) A mead horn being passed around
    4) And possibly a wild boar hunt

  6. Sounding more & more like the makin’s of a SCAdian wedding……I love it. 🙂

And I love how your (Sealy) dad got such a chuckle out of your pun.

  7. Can’t help it, I’m laughing. And there’s nothing you can do to stop me! Muahahaha*coughcoughgag* Stupid cold.

I can’t wait to see it, though I know I have to as it’s bad luck for the groom to see the dress before the wedding.

No damsel in distress, she’s a warrior princess!

    1. I agree with the warrior princess. Be like Xena or something. Could even be a Mage or magic user. Could be epic

  8. Glad I’m one of the three users that got an exact quote in the comic. I’m wondering though–where exactly will the dress’s armor be located? I’m having trouble imagining an armored dress, unless it resembles this.

    1. Look up the outfit for Zelda in Hyrule Warriors or Twilight Princess for some possible examples.

  9. THAT was absolutely terrible! Please tell me you aren’t trying to join the ranks of Stephan Pastis, Justin Thompson, or the majority of Kevin and Kell readers! And yes, I have a sense of humour, but I still didn’t laugh … I definitely don’t want to encourage you.

  10. Is it not known, from lo these long and ancient years…
There is no armor so strong as the will of the one who wears it.
    Nor yet–so silly!
In silliness, we shall conquer ALL!!

  11. I don’t know what’s funnier to me in this one. Your pun or the fact that Fox and Dad both are laughing at it. Of course, once again, Mom has that look of “I can’t believe you said that” on her face.

  12. Sounds like your wedding is going to be quite fun to attend. If you two need a troll to defeat, I volunteer 🙂

  13. I just like how cat-mom looks like she’s about to shoot eyebeams of pure dissatisfaction.

  14. this is why i named my daughter Eowyn

    “the face stabbin princess”
